Many of you might remember the bazillion emails I sent out about the four kiddos we (overnight!) got temporary custody of while their mom (Isola) was being held. Well, through a series of amazing events and God's Sovereignty, she was released with the expectation of continuing to work on getting her family home.
In the meantime, Isola had to work on getting Casey in for surgery because of the many complications of her condition. If she is unable to complete the treatments before she goes to Jamaica, she could develop skin cancer very quickly. So, she is scheduled for the surgery on April 5th in Miami. Please pray that everything will work out for the surgery, the trip down there (Isola can't drive, so someone has to take her), their stay (3 days/nights) and the other three children....and that's just the beginning! There are lots more details and difficulties because of Isola's situations - limitations like you wouldn't believe! So far, though, God has blessed her with some situations she hadn't anticipated!!! Thanks for your prayers and I'll try to keep you updated. For now, here are some pictures of their stay with us in September/October.
JJ was amazing with the girls' hair (this is Casey)!! Finally they looked decent and not like 'white chicks' were taking care of them! What an experience!

Chuck-E-Cheese's...can someone say 'nightmare'? This is C.J. (who was saved from abortion!) playing air hockey with 'dad'.

Daniel and Caleb were superheroes and babysitters!! Dextin was an incredible help, too!

Caleb and Dextin...

One of my favorites...

Craft time goes fast when you can't use crayons, glue, glitter, scissors, markers, paper because C.J. grabs them all away!!! Thanks to Kathy, we still had fun! :)

And she danced with them, sang with them, read with them...

Me 'n Double Trouble (a.k.a. Stacey and Casey)
after their bath-time...
Megan was great with the kids, too! She liked C.J....wait until he's older, girl!

We really didn't put them to bed before 6:00...we promise! ...and we DID let them upstairs. :)
