Whinings, concluded

To all my dear friends and family:

I am better (not 100%, mind you. The meds are still making me do foolish things - I promise it's the meds! :). Thanks for your prayers! I am alive and at work...which is why this is brief. :)

Whinings...

Here I sit...sniffling and sneezing...sweating and snuffling. Again. Still. Isn't there some rule somewhere that says sickness lasts only a couple days? If so, my body missed reading it. I've felt like my head is full of cotton since Monday. I haven't felt (or looked!) human in days. Here it is Thursday afternoon and I'm going stir-crazy. I can't even sleep for some reason. And if you know me, that's my signature - sleep. You probably couldn't understand me if you talked to me on the phone, either....right, Mel? I missed Tuesday night's concert, too. How dumb is that? Where's the fairness? The justice? What insanity! I am the Xtreme Bands' biggest fan (well, I think Tara might be the biggest - something about the lead singer signing her booty or something). Nothing will stop me from Saturday night's concert and cheering for the hot soprano!!! So, I'm off. Off to try to sleep...or something.

The Commission Tour!

So, I have to brag. My sister's in this really cool band and they sing really great and they're touring the state with WCR (west coast revival)! Then, they're traveling to Wales to help with an outreach our church is doing there in the community. I'm so excited!! I am totally a groupie and can't wait! And so, like, I have this poster in my office and I just might have my bridesmaids wear these colors...just kidding! :o) And no, that wasn't news, for all those I haven't talked to in days! But seriously, this is going to be great and if you click here you'll see what it's all about.
